How to make Cider

You have to start somewhere so why not with this video about How to make cider

The method employed here for making cider at home is to make a drum press with a bottle jack and timber frame. It's all very well to say anybody can make this with materials from the local hardware shop but for many people who want to learn how to make cider a more off the shelf solution will be sought.

New Forest Cider stall

We went to the New Forest Cider stall at Borough Market to have a drink of the wonderful dry cider and a chat with Barry and Peter there. It's much busier on a Saturday morning than on a thursday afternoon when we usually go to pick up some take home cider and vegetables from the market.
